Two panes, many tabs
Explorer shows one folder at a time. Moving files to another drive means two windows and a lot of taskbar hunting.
Each pane keeps its own path, tabs, sort order, and history; drag across to copy or move. Tabs can be reordered or moved to the other side. A pinned tab stays put — navigating away opens a new tab instead of abandoning it.
- Path, history, sort, and filter are independent per pane
- Drag to the other pane to copy; hold Shift to move
- Name clashes: overwrite, skip, keep both, or keep the newer file
